How to Add the TextNinja Widget to a Squarespace Website

This guide shows you how to install the TextNinja text messaging widget on a Squarespace website using Code Injection.

Once installed, visitors can start a text conversation with your business directly from your site.

Step 1: Copy Your TextNinja Widget Installation Code

  1. Log in to your TextNinja dashboard
  2. Go to Chat Widget → Install on website
  3. Copy the full widget installation code

Step 2: Open Squarespace Code Injection

  1. Log in to Squarespace
  2. Select your website
  3. Go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection

Step 3: Paste the Installation Code

  1. Paste the TextNinja installation code into the Footer field
  2. Click Save

Adding the code to the footer ensures the widget appears on all pages.

Step 4: Verify on Your Live Site

  1. Visit your live Squarespace site (not preview mode)
  2. Confirm the TextNinja widget appears on the page

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure the code is pasted in the Footer, not the Header
  • Refresh the page or try an incognito window
