How to Add the TextNinja Widget to a WordPress Website
This guide shows you how to add the TextNinja text messaging widget to a WordPress website.
You can install it using a plugin (recommended for most users) or through your theme’s built-in settings.
Option 1: Install Using a Plugin (Recommended)
Step 1: Install a Header and Footer Plugin
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
- Go to Plugins → Add New
- Search for Insert Headers and Footers
- Install and activate the plugin
Step 2: Paste the TextNinja Installation Code
- Go to Settings → Insert Headers and Footers
- Paste your TextNinja installation code into the Footer field
- Click Save
Option 2: Install via Theme Settings (Advanced)
Some WordPress themes include built-in fields for custom scripts.
- Go to Appearance → Customize
- Look for sections like Custom Scripts, Header/Footer, or Advanced
- Paste the TextNinja installation code into the footer area
- Save your changes
Step 3: Confirm Installation
- Visit your live WordPress website
- Confirm the TextNinja widget appears
Troubleshooting
- Make sure the code is added to the footer, not a page editor
- Disable caching plugins temporarily if the widget doesn’t appear
- Try viewing the site in an incognito window
